Terms of Service
Greyhouse Glass, Wilmington, North Carolina · Effective 2 November 2026
These terms cover your use of the Pattern Portal (patterns.greyhouseglass.com), run by Greyhouse Glass of Wilmington, North Carolina (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying anything here you agree to them.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email address. Keep that inbox to yourself; anything bought or saved under your account is tied to it. An account is for one person.
What you get
- Membership (monthly or annual): every published pattern and every tool, with commercial use, for as long as your membership is active. It renews automatically until you cancel.
- A single pattern or a bundle: that pattern, or every pattern in that collection including ones released later, kept in your library.
- Unlock codes from our Etsy listings add the pattern they came with to your library.
Personal-use license
Patterns are licensed, not sold. You may print them and build as many pieces as you like for yourself or as gifts. You may not share, resell or republish the pattern files, prints or renders. Selling finished pieces made from a pattern needs commercial use: a commercial license for that pattern, or an active membership.
Commercial use
A commercial license for a pattern, bought once, lets you sell finished glass pieces made from it, in any number, for good. An active membership includes the same right for every pattern; it covers pieces you sell while the membership is active, and ends with it. Neither lets you sell or share the pattern itself.
Prices, payment and tax
Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Founding-member pricing applies to the monthly membership for as long as that membership stays active.
Refunds
See the Refund Policy.
Building safely
Stained glass involves sharp glass, lead and solder. Patterns, sizes, cut lists and shopping lists are aids, not guarantees: check measurements against your opening and follow safe practice. We aren't liable for materials, injuries or losses that come from building a piece.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and we'll email members about significant changes. We may close an account that breaks these terms. You can close yours at any time by emailing us.
Liability and law
The Pattern Portal is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
